Mid-Kaweah GSA Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP)

The Mid-Kaweah GSA Board of Directors adopted the 2024 Second Amended GSP on November 13, 2024. On November 15, 2024, Mid-Kaweah GSA submitted the adopted 2024 Second Amended GSP to the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). Shorty after submittal, the SWRCB canceled the January 7, 2025 Probationary Hearing for the Kaweah Subbasin.

GSP Timeline

Kaweah Subbasin moved back to DWR

On Dec. 2, 2025, the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) unanimously adopted a resolution detailing the Kaweah Subbasin’s return to Department of Water Resources (DWR). Probationary Hearing CANCELED

The CA State Water Resources Control Board notify the public that the Kaweah Subbasin’s Probation Hearing scheduled for January 7, 2024, has been cancelled. Click here for more details.

Probabtion Hearing Rescheduled

The CA State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) rescheduled the Kaweah Subbasin Probationary Hearing for January 7, 2024. The Kaweah Subbasin continues to work with the SWRCB to finalize the Kaweah SubbasinGSP. Click Here For Notice

2024 Amended MKGSA GSP

Probation Hearing Scheduled

On June 20, 2024, the Kaweah Subbasin was given their probation hearing date on November 5, 2024. Click here for more details.

Inadequate Determination

On March 2, 2023, the Kaweah Subbasin received an inadequate determination from the CA Department of Water Resources. Click here for more details.

Incomplete Determination

The Kaweah Subbasin was given an Incomplete Determination for the Kaweah Subbasin GSPs by the California Department of Water Resources on January 28, 2022. Click here for more details.
