East Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency encompasses the eastern region of the Kaweah Subbasin along with the City of Lindsay, City of Strathmore, and the communities of Tooleville, Lindcove, Ivanhoe, and Plainview.
Greater Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency
Greater Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency encompasses various areas within the Kaweah Subbasin along with the City of Woodlake, City of Farmersville, City of Exeter, and the communities of Goshen, Cameron Creek Colony, Ivanhoe, Patterson Tract, Hypericum and Lemoncove.
Mid-Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency
Mid-Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency encompassses in the middle portion of the Kaweah Subbasin along with the City of Visalia, City of Tulare and the communities of Okieville/ Highland Acres, Matheny Tract, Soults Tract and Waukena.

Mid-Kaweah GSA (MKGSA) relies on partnerships with other agencies and organizations to fulfill the goal of groundwater sustainability. The partnerships forged have been with all kinds of organizations from habitat restoration and conservation organizations to community services organizations. MKGSA is willing to work with anyone to protect agriculture based communities.

The Kaweah Subbasin Multi-Benefit Land Repurposing Program (MLRP) is a collaborative effort led by local and state partners to promote groundwater sustainability and environmental resilience. Funded by the California Department of Conservation (DOC), the program supports projects that convert farmland with high water demand into multi-benefit uses like habitat restoration, groundwater recharge, and open space. Sequoia Riverlands Trust (SRT) plays a key role in engaging landowners and implementing conservation-based land use changes, while the Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District (KDWCD) provides critical water management expertise to ensure projects align with regional water goals. Together, these partners are working to balance agricultural needs with long-term water sustainability in the Kaweah Subbasin.
